Welcome to the Bar Society of Kings College London! Our underlying objective is to ensure that all of our members have access to the contacts and information that they need to pursue a legal career and our academic events are aimed at strengthening the achievements of our members. We pride ourselves on our strong links with alumni, thus enabling you, the students, to begin the ever present process of networking, making contacts in both the legal and business world, with both partners from Law firms and senior members of the Bar and the Judiciary.

But we also strongly believe in the ‘work hard play hard’ ethos. Whether it is the academic or social events, or even both that you want to get involved in, the Bar Society is there for you. When term starts our online booking system for our events will go live, so make sure to come back and sign up to the social and academic events that the first term will have to offer. Don’t forget, our events are exclusive to Bar Society members, so become a member or renew your membership by the 7th September to ensure that your membership is processed by the start of term.
